Mr Sebastian Brennan
Students, when at the full-time school are automatically solely represented by Sylvia Young Agency. Any audition or contact made with, or through another agency is not acceptable unless with prior knowledge and agreement of our agency.
Students must not attend open or advertised auditions without the prior permission of the agency. Should permission be given the agency name must be forwarded and contracts must be put through the agency. We would regard any auditions or jobs attended other than those agreed or arranged by the agency as a serious infringement of our rules and students may be asked to leave the school
All full time students will be required to enter Children’s Spotlight annually. Details will be sent at the appropriate time. Students will require a new set of photographs each year, to be arranged BY THE AGENCY.
Students who are engaged in professional work may miss time at school. In this case, form tutors will arrange coursework to be set and monitored during the pupils’ absence. It is our policy to liaise closely with the family, the production company and the tutor chaperone. It is important that the correct balance is maintained between schoolwork and professional opportunities. The Headteacher reserves the right to make the decisions concerning absence from school for such purposes.
Pupils regularly appear in West End theatre productions, at the Royal National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Theatre and with the English National Opera, Glyndebourne and Scottish National Opera. In addition many students take leading roles in major television series and films.
